That next day meeting, they did not invite me or reach me, which was illegal. I asked them to reverse their action and they refused and ratified the previous illegal meeting actions. I protested and they retaliated against me. I tired to save her life and they wanted some un-holy deal that the HOA attorney brought to them. I saw it as illegal. Her mental illness was difficult for her to manage and she tried and tried but never got the help she needed from the HOA or others. 袭警是警察的错误处理造成的啊。。。。从一开始控制权就在警察手里，门关着，女主自己在家里，对任何人都没有威胁。不是紧急状况，警察完全可以找专业人士calm her down。警察没有这样做，反而武力的闯进人家家中，武力威胁。感觉女主有点彻底绝望，就来个 “老子拼了”

什么叫袭警是警察的错误处理造成的？警察按章办事去给她法院发的eviction notice，她拿着把刀让放下还不放还没对人有威胁？

HOA 难榨出大钱。如果按照那个好心邻居说的，是四个成员的违规行为。就更难算到HOA头上了。而且基本没办法把她的死亡算到HOA头上。除非有证据是他们预谋杀人。赔偿对应的是损失。就算HOA导致的损失是五十万，对于一个诉讼来说，简直轻如鸿毛。人命才是最大的损失。但是这个是警察做的。
这个HOA手段有点太肮脏，应该受罚！建议里面的屋主一起抗议惩罚那些HOA的member。
拖欠HOA fee是一回事，持刀和警察對峙卻是另一回事。
不過看到她對警察如此囂張連命都可以不要的情況，拖欠HOA費用對她來說也不奇怪了。
说不定也是HOA故意找个借口想看看女主到底有没有准备按时搬出去。。。。
我的理解是这个邻居是hoa的treasure吧，hoa肯定有结余吧，李女士欠的3w里面，到底多少是本来欠的还有多少是罚款都不清楚，treasure说能help，肯定是能help啊
HOA 有保险，HOA的liability不限于它的reserve。

亲爱的，不是这么算的。你第一个claim就很难证明。我也很难过很生气。但是确实对HOA作恶的人，最大的惩罚就是public shaming. 把官司打赢。让他们背着恶名一辈子。

真的单身的人没有家庭支撑很难handle官司的， 我在文学城看到一个老中，也是被hoa搞，我看他也都抑郁了。因为要自己熟悉法律条文，找律师也没那么容易的，找到好律师，也要律师有个好助手把来弄去卖弄清楚。很多时候律师为了赶时间根本对细节不care。那个老中工作都还不错都要上gofundme筹款。
好像她把eviction通知扔出来了，然后关了门。这样算不算eviction没有serve成功，得再serve? 然后公寓管理员还是谁，又跟警察说也被她拿刀威胁了。这下就变成有威胁性，得升级处理了。
是的，警察，军队，就是国家武器。普通人惹不起还是躲着点吧，忍忍算了

netdlix有个片子，女主遭遇过车祸，然后就再也不敢出门，走出房门会恐慌晕倒的程度。这世间mental issues很多对他人都无害，但这HOA显然是不想与她为邻了，正好账务上不对付，找个机会赶走就是了，就这个思路。这个James很善良。

我觉得要抓他们的漏洞很难，因为他们都是在律师的指导下完成的，比如说弄啥emergency meeting，不让James参加之类的。但是应该雇佣私家侦探查查这几个board member的财政收入，是不是一起故意想瓜分人家的财产啥的。觉得女主死的太不值。要是我，决定拼个你死我活的话，会实现把那些人都毙了之后再拼命。

HOA卖债务的这个公司，肯定和HOA 某人有一定关系的。 不可能把这利益给外面不认识的人。

受害者家人还可以民事起诉HOA board member，寻求精神损失。可以把几个恶霸告得倾家荡产卖房子，一定要找个好律师才行。
找好律师就像找好牙医一样难。但是不能凑合，一定要找到自己满意信任的才行。不然损失惨重。好律师是挑案子接。就像好牙医有waiting list.
HOA乱编造名目让户主交钱，如果户主不同意，就会扯皮。很多户主和HOA的官司就是这么来的。 Yan是不是也是类似情况，等调查吧。
那他在过去的几年中，为什么不建议LI缴纳费用？ 让事情走到不可能收拾的地步？ 在卖债务之前，会有好多次的COLLECTIONS. 他作为HOA 的一员。又是LI的邻居， 不知道有没有把事情给她讲清楚。现在事情除了， 扯一堆警察要咋做咋做。今天警察没有干什么。这个债务问题还是在，后续还是会有其他极端的事情。
