However, the weather was just wonderful, and it was a great enjoyment to run along the river. Sun, breeze, blue sky, fresh air, nice conversation... I felt great afterward.

Me too. 20 minutes jogging (very slow) yesterday... and today my legs hurt. I guess jogging uses different muscles compared to Callanetics.
Also, the last couple of days I feel the pain in the butt after Callanetics. Must be because I didn't exercise much lately and my muscles are weaker than before.

My period should also arrive soon. I feel low energy all over. I only took a long walk this weekend. No other exercise. I just didn't feel like it. Saturday night I have guests for dinner. Normally I really enjoy cooking a nice dinner. But this time I was tired and didn't enjoy cooking.
Despite feeling tired, I still went out during lunch for jogging and 15 minutes of Callanetics. The thing that motivated me was the nice weather. If I don't enjoy it during lunch, the sun will be gone and ?t will be cold when I finish work.
I plan to do the same today if the weather is nice. Wednesday it is supposed to rain.

I instead... went out during lunch for jogging. It was cold and cloudy and windy. I felt really hungry after 200 meters. After 1 minute of mental struggle, I went back to the office and had something to eat... I felt sooooooooo tired the past few days :-( But I'm listening to my body and currently focusing on resting :-)
Today at lunch I ran 20 flights of stairs --- from my office all the way down to the ground floor! :-))))) No reason, just felt like it all of a sudden. OK, it's down, not up, but still quite a bit of moving the legs :-))))
With the weather getting cold, I'm discovering latte macchiato (a bit of espresso + a lot foamed milk). I love it!
Meanwhile, I can't give up on the green tea.
Today I had some much cafferine (equivalent to 7 cups of tea) !!!!! oh god. If I had that much caffeine I won't be able to sleep for two days! I still struggle to drink a can of coke every so often.
Try to reduce your intake. It is good for long run..... Use decaf expresson instead..
Today at lunch I ran 20 flights of stairs --- from my office all the way down to the ground floor! :-))))) No reason, just felt like it all of a sudden. OK, it's down, not up, but still quite a bit of moving the legs :-)))) Is this better on Knees than huaren.using rope?

I accidently heard people say that exercise is not fun, it is medicine. - I like it. Women like our age should consider exercise as medicine, not optional. This is the only way to survive. I often ask myself why I am stressed and how I am going to handle my stress. To me, there are a lot of way to release stress that are self distructive, such as drinking alchohol, compulsive shopping, throwing glassware, eating excessively...... But exercise is self improvment, so does sleep, haha....

hehe, it is fine with me. I am flattered. Thanks for introducing Callanetics. It is the only work-out that I am able to keep doing.
Maybe MM needs more time to see result. BTW, I also find the lower stomach with the least changes. The biggest improvement for me is upper stomach, butt, and legs.
Yeah! I finally saw the pictures. MM has a very nice figure! To me you already look very good. Of course there is always room for improvement --- for all of us.

Your schedule is too crazy, so you probably are constantly tired. When you finally have time to rest, it takes a long time to feel completely rested. I was in a similar condition earlier this year. Now that I work from home on Friday it's much better.
Try to focus on what you want to look like, and you will get there. Slow but steady :-) I really admire you for being able to juggle work, family, kids, and now exercise. I always feel that you're the one that "hold up everything". Remember: You're an amazing person!

The best part of the weekend: I slept till 3PM on Saturday. 15 hours of sleeping! I finally felt rested.

只要不是跑很长时间,应该没什么事吧?如果去跑race, 肯定会伤膝盖的。

下周working buddy去休假,我估计自己就偷懒了。
今天早上空腹,净重103.5磅,创过去9年个人最好记录。不过上臂肉还是很松,估计得加weight training才能去掉肥肉。

上个星期到周五都完全没怎么锻炼,因为大姨妈来看我了
上周六开始回复callan了,并不是每天都一个小时,有时候懒就只做腹部的部分
无奈肚子还是没什么变化,倒是腿内侧感觉肌肉加强了点
香香mm,做那个400腹部练习的时候是不是不能收腹呀?我按照她说的不收腹,但是没什么用呀,然后我看到杂志上说,如果腹部运动不收腹的话,会让肉鼓出来的
我现在也差不多做了10个小时的callan了,没觉得有非常大的变化,现在觉得是不是10/10的难度不够大?
总结一下过去几天锻炼情况:
10/22 周六 Callanetics 40分钟(等女儿钢琴课时做)
10/24 周日 Callanetics 40分钟
10/25 周一 Callanetics 40分钟,跳绳1000下(跳两分钟,休息3分钟,共计25分钟)
10/26 周二 逛街1个半小时,因为身体不适应跳绳,昏睡两小时
10/27 周三 跳绳1000下,走路20分钟
10/28 周四 Zumba 45分钟
计划
10/29 周五 休息
10/30 周六 Callanetics 40分钟((等女儿钢琴课时做)
下周working buddy去休假,我估计自己就偷懒了。
今天早上空腹,净重103.5磅,创过去9年个人最好记录。不过上臂肉还是很松,估计得加weight training才能去掉肥肉。

MM真棒!有志者事竟成。我刚开始的时候也是这样的频率,后来动力就小了。需要像MM这样的“新鲜血液”来激励我! :-)

MM什么时候奔 Before & After? Waiting :-)))))))))
这个周末我很勤奋:
周五30分钟椭圆机,然后高兴地去泡吧,见见朋友,说说笑。
周六晚上做大餐,下午忙忽了3个小时,不过还是抽空做了30分钟椭圆机。这里必须向公公致谢:LG下午把宝宝送过去,这样我俩可以各自做椭圆机,我也可以专心cooking。等吃的弄好了,客人来了,公公才把宝宝送回来。我真的很幸运。
周日中午美餐一顿,下午推着宝宝去playground,又遛了一大圈,前前后后一共走了1个半小时,脚都走疼了。
卡兰没练。还是weekday Callanetics + weekend cardio
周日的一件小事:早上起来心情就烦闷。可能是因为怀孕是意外,虽然孩子都快两岁了,每隔一段时间,我就会有一两天心里暗暗希望自己还没孩子,可以天马行空,觉得被trapped了,然后我就一个人躲在一间屋里,不理LG和孩子(他们真够可怜的)。周日又是这样。上午一个人躲在一间屋里,吃零时(emotional eating),看华人。后来因为约好了出去吃午饭,挣扎了半天才打起精神,随便拣了套头衫牛仔裤穿上,出门了。午饭倒很好吃,吃完心里觉得愧疚,决定带宝宝去playground。
路上走着,觉得自己好丑:没化妆,没梳头,嘴角最近还烂了,顶着个褐色的大ga(不会写这个字)。不过走着走着,决定不管怎样,也要有好的面貌,于是仰首挺胸。不一会儿走过一个牵条狗的老伯,他和善地对我说:漂亮妈妈,漂亮宝宝。On a day like that, these kind words really made my day. 然后我一路上对自己重复着他的话。也许他只是being nice,但我意识到其实美丑很大程度是精神状态。不管长相如何,对生活充满激情充满自信才会美。

I accidently heard people say that exercise is not fun, it is medicine. - I like it. Women like our age should consider exercise as medicine, not optional.
This is the only way to survive. I often ask myself why I am stressed and how I am going to handle my stress. To me, there are a lot of way to release stress that are self distructive, such as drinking alchohol, compulsive shopping, throwing glassware, eating excessively...... But exercise is self improvment, so does sleep, haha....

Went for jogging on two days. 20 minutes Callanetics one day. One day just rest (due to lack of sleep).
It's very nice to go jogging --- fresh air, nice social time, but no sun :-(

每次都有burning的感觉的,我发现我很悲催的好像把pelvic那里的肌肉练出来了,但是小腹还是没有什么变化,而且我这个星期很懒,没怎么做

Maybe MM needs more time to see result. BTW, I also find the lower stomach with the least changes. The biggest improvement for me is upper stomach, butt, and legs.

Yeah! I finally saw the pictures. MM has a very nice figure! To me you already look very good. Of course there is always room for improvement --- for all of us.
I summarized the sections of the program:
Warm-up: 8 min
Stomach: 8
Leg: 2
Stretch: 8
Hip: 8
Stretch: 8
Pelvis: 5
Stretch: 2
Squeeze: 2
Total: 51 min + 3 min of intro and finishing
I think if you do it without watching DVD, you can do in 40-45 minutes, cutting out the talking time.
For the last month, during weekdays I have been doing only warmup + leg + hip. 20 minutes. Then I do the squeeze while working. I skipped stomach and pelvis (13 min). I also skipped most of the stretching (18 min).
Today while I was doing the stretches, I felt all the tension that's been built up in my body.
Will try to add in stomach + pelvis + stretch. Maybe after 9pm when Junior is in bed...

Let me think... Immediately after exercising, I normally feel tired physically but a bit hyper mentally. The rest of the day my fatigue level is normal. So are you eating well and how many hours do you sleep?

你们都好一针见血。 我是睡不多,大概晚上11点半,早上7点半起床。周末的话多一个小时午睡。睡眠质量还可以。

我以前也这样,哈哈。 如果睡不够就会很容易累。可以先调整作息时间。然后加入cardio , 再加入卡兰。

Your schedule is too crazy, so you probably are constantly tired. When you finally have time to rest, it takes a long time to feel completely rested. I was in a similar condition earlier this year. Now that I work from home on Friday it's much better.
