用高中EC和课程里最有说服力的方向申请。文艺方向最强。可惜了ap Chem and AP Physics 没顶上去。但是有文艺强已经很厉害了。10/11年级当时如果决定走EE/CS, 应该只留最强的writing, 砍掉art and dance等课程和活动，专心攻stem ap and activities.
娃是小中女，在紫檀学习了5-6年了，每年看大家的分享，很喜欢。今天轮到自己，很忐忑不安，请大家给建议，应该考虑哪些学校，strategy是什么。

Co-President for a club with over 100 members Co- president for math club (small club), 这个搞笑，年级有亚裔女娃数学竞赛，她数学差人家很多 Co-President for Science Club 2 years paid intern at a NGO 1 year tutoring for NGO for low income kids (continue at 12th grade) National Honor society学校偏文，AP文科跟老师就拿5分，理科跟老师是拿不到5分的。理科AP一个班20人就2个5分，因为别的活动多，EC 和Club都很花时间，所以也没时间自己弄理科了. 学校是磁校，今年HMSP（各一个）， 还有2-3哥大，2-3 Dartmouth, 1 Cornell. 还有NYU，GA tech, Umich. 感觉Ivy在我们这里录Stem/Econ kids.
想学计算机/CE/EE, 请教AO们，那些学校应该试一下？我们周大还行30-40 吧。娃可以去周大，有点可惜和不甘心
但是第一第二名不算数的，因为他们都是运动员上的online school，容易拿A, 他们估计只能去周大的。 我们学校承认online school credit
aBC难就难在学习成绩都好。
跳的更好的孩子一天至少3小时，还有competition 就在AP考试时。一个周末比赛结束周一考AP chem. 没复习这事
记得有本书 the road to Yale, 看看里面类似的孩子怎么写文书。
试了试AMC,缺的知识点太多，如果6年级开始，9年级能AIME. 脑子还行
大概9年级结束，其实也是家长没有想明白，推晚了
SSP Garcia 还可以，Boston rise 可能是t10 Duke 水平。 8 ) simons 稍微好些

到底是专家，我们学校今年T5娃没有紫檀娃这末牛。拿到P的娃还拿到C18 and Brown, 学英语，没有scholarstic 这种奖（我们学校scholarstic 一年能有几十个奖，每年或隔年还有young arts）排名前10。我们学校去Iowa and Kenyon writing camp 几乎每年都有，但是最后去大藤一定是学习在前10（不算online school)还有这些奖的孩子。我们GPA不硬核，可以通过学容易的课boost 排名，但是这对好学校没用。去好学校的孩子要学难的AP，leadership, Awards都必须硬, 光GPA好去旗舰州大
我觉得太好学校学理工她会很辛苦的，毕竟理工基础没竞赛娃扎实
EA ED一个最喜欢的，同时EA各强州立。RD多申请。
GPA 4/5.2，学校前10估计都是全A
