莫说大学排名,就是大学招生本身,学术占几成?各种机关、套路、政治正确。。。也不能较真。
P校长几年前还要纠正自己学校所谓的systematic racism, 送上门让调查,若不是川普只任一届,麻烦就会来了。
不过最近好像搞平衡了,没有因言废人, 所谓系统歧视也好像消声了。

校园需要多种文化来平衡Woke culture 和以往某些wasp对犹太裔和亚裔的排挤。P能保持和谐,营造良好的氛围和文化,相对来说得益于象牙塔远离尘世。从这个角度说,没有比P更完美了。
少钱兴趣不大,放假时在一起吃饭,知道有那么一个二个人跟着做的还不是去MIT的,大部分孩子都踏踏实实地走自己的路,想上顶尖的医学院,法学院,还有本专业最好的研究生院。
话说回来,这个开公司的和跟着做的这么几个孩子在申大学的时候和拿到结果的时候父母和孩子的处理方式都是一样的,既不告诉任何同学朋友早申的学校和RD的学校,录取没录取也不告诉任何人,换句话说,早申录了,自己也决定去了,但RD还全申一遍T10, 不过俺们家和孩子都心大,不管这些,当然孩子也知道这些孩子只是一般的朋友,谁也不傻。
但是通用的排名,会对生源产生很大影响。
基本上都是进了就fit
教育上比其他学校多花多少钱真看不出来。
这些生源选择方式正是US News rewarded,但很多人觉得很ridiculous。

上物理课,教授展开个公式就花了不少时间,可不慢慢展开,很多人就是看不懂,对优秀孩子来说,不光是浪费时间,那么好的教授,结果,能学到的太少了。
