I have 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. End of 2015 battery was dead ( I jumped with a jump start battery so I could go to the dealer). Dealer replace it with a new Honda battery (picture). The "new" battery last a little bit over 2 years. Dead again. I was 50 miles from home, the engine could not start. I used a jump start battery (after the first incident, I alway carried this with my proud new Honda), so I could go to the dealer again. Honda asked me to buy another of their battery. I said your battery has a 100 month unlimited warrantee (left side of the picture). But the dealer said it still considers this is under factory warrantee for 3 years, so they asked me to buy. But they replaced the starter instead (smart way to make money, stupid way to treat dead battery) with a rebuilt starter because I bought 10 year warrantee with $100 deducted for this rebuilt starter I paid in addition to the original fee. I did not buy their battery, I bought a baeery from Costco, and right now I still use Costco battery.
It has very large background current (I measured once 680 mA! when engine was not running). I asked the dealer, they said ater around 15 min or so it will be less than 100 mA in sleep. I think that was was one of the reasons why their battery dies so quickly.
The battery is indeed dead. I charged it with wither a 6 A or 10 A charger. The battery only get 12.3 V and the voltage continues to drop. Few days (I remember it was one day) later, it was under 12 V. It could not even run the "pulse battery rejuvenator" (12 V required).
Its CVT transmission is much less powerful than my 2014 Camry though their horse power is almost identical (only one or two horse power difference).
The dealer is also not friendly not technically know their cars. Around in 2018, the door lock started to behave strangely. It locks me when I enter the car but the door button to lock the car does not work when I leave the car. Dealer said I should always use the remote to lock the car. I said this was not the way since I bought the car. So they refuse to fix it.
Just don't buy Honda, Buy Toyota. I have had 3 Camrys, I love them all very very much. I have 3 NIssans (Datsun), I like them too. I have only one Honda, that is enough, I hate it. This is my own experence, just a reminder for you, maybe.
any particular reason, or, just you don't like honda

而不是像TOYOTA的genuine new parts。
