We took our 2011 toyota prius (about 70K miles now) to its dealer for oil change. During the oild change, they said the the oil house （也许我这个词不准) needs to be replaced, we agreed to do it. During this process, they got oil spilled and did a power wash to clean up. After we took the car back, we found the engine check light is on after drivng for about 20 miles. We sent the car back to the dealer. They said that the error codes are p0303, p0304. They replaced the Spark plug, but the problem is still there. we did some search on internet and found out oil spill could cause engine damage. But this Toyota service center said this engine malfunction is just a coincidence and not caused by the oil spill & power wash. They also suggested that the engine maye be need to be replaced.
Can oil spill and that power wash cause the error p0303, p0304?

1：oil housing在车底下和火花塞一上一下不搭嘎。
2：oil spill，spill在哪里？为什么会spill？说确认的spill？
3：Powerwash了哪里？是例行保养后的洗车还是重点某个部位的清洗？
4：为什么仅依靠两个故障码就有了要换引擎的猜测或建议？
不知道具体做了什么地方的power wash，我的理解是重点部位清洗。他们说有可能要换引擎，不知是否在蒙我们，又说是valves的问题。 刚换完机油时，他们还说开车时有可能会闻到糊味， 这个我们的确闻到了。
我们奇怪的是为什么换完机油，就立马出现了这种问题。
oil housing有缺陷导致的漏油，当然还有可能是猜不到的原因，综上所述导致触发引擎灯亮的原因大概率和换油保养不存在因果关系。
”可能要更换引擎“和”valves的问题“没有详细情况无法猜测，但是。。。。。
如果p0303和p0304更换火花塞并未消除故障说明“换件滴乐”的专业操作应该被顾客质疑！

modified engine is more fragile than stock one, though, sounds not much meaningful to modify a prius engine;
if engine needs to replace, it might be a time to find a new car
原因： valve damage 或 piston ring damage. 这两个修理都很贵。dealer 才会说换引擎。但这两个原因都与外撒油和水无关。其他原因造成的misfire 应该不需要换引擎。所以可能性较低。当然，dealer 也有可能误判。
