几个星期下来,一多半的人嚷嚷要drop,但最后没人drop,有的小孩说家里给请了家教。其实家教基本没什么用,全年下来所有的成绩都来自一周一次七八十道题Multiple choice考试。既没有作业也没有作文。坑人的老师。可能有小孩了解这老师所以不选他的课。

A Possibly More Reliable Indicator: 5 Rate

Since pass rates don’t actually tell us much, what about the 5 rate? Remember, a 5 is the highest possible AP score (read more about AP scores here). Shouldn’t we be able to find the hardest AP tests by looking at the exams with the lowest 5 rates?

Below is a table with all the AP exams, this time ranked by the percentage of test-takers who got a 5.

说实在的,学了历史之后我觉得娃们的智商增加了。

智商增加了,是不是数学总有一天也会进步的?

这一年我们上物理,老师都是紧贴着AP的路子走。

我们APUSH老师讲课声情并茂,学生都爱听。但是经常全班最高分是50分:))

要求非常严,小孩过了一个多月才适应,知道诀窍了

我们有一个物理老师课讲得好,但很少练AP的题。另一个老师课讲得糟糕,还经常浪费很多课堂时间吹牛皮,

他的考卷基本就是用AP考题。

问了问高年级同学,说是我们这儿很多阅读和作文, honor world history工作量就小很多,也容易拿好成绩

主要关键是娃不是那块料,历史这个东西, 第一是要记忆力好,第二是要有兴趣。

我们Honor课比AP容易太多了,他们老师每一章给弄个几页纸的guide,

小孩把那几页纸记清楚了就万事大吉。AP老师什么都不给,只能靠小孩自己看书。

我真希望当时我们AP课有很多阅读和作文,可惜没有作文,阅读也只是读教科书。

这个也靠Multiple choice呀,那是考不出啥水平。难道不是多读多写多分析妈?
