As the author, I am in a better position to judge my translator, be it an AI or otherwise. 

平水韵拙作：

苦茶甘味酒无缘，壶吐香魂淡淡烟。 

去日天涯轻一顾，半生风雨到窗前。

ChatGPT英译：

Bitter tea, sweet wine hold no relation,

Pouring out fragrance, a light smoke rises.

Yesterday's journey to the horizon, just a glance, 

Half a life of wind and rain, arrives at the window.

……

My feedback:

ChatGPT didn't make the grade. Indeed, poetry is above its pay grade. It has little sense of aesthetics, if at all.

哈，我也做了类似的测试。让AI写诗，古诗格律基本都是错的。现代诗也是中小学水平，八股味。

半生风雨到窗前。这句是真的好。每次读都忍不住赞。。

谢谢盈盈！AI比人最不足之处是情商（EQ），严重缺乏同理心。诗歌是情感的升华，机器何来灵性呢？
