The pneumatic robot arm tool is to be mounted on the host machine.
After the new pneumatic robot arm tool arrived I found the host machine does not have enough vacuum ports to support all the tool functions. Instead the host machine comes with more than enough positive air pressure ports. So I came up with an idea to use a Venturi vacuum generator to convert positive air pressure fuction to vacuum pressure. Every technician knows how to connect a Venturi vacuum generator. Then I said something extra: Venruri effect is when you blow the air through constricted section (or choke) of a pipe, called Venturi pipe, the air flow speed increased, but the air pressure reduced, i.e. vacuum is generated around the Venturi pipe.
After saying that I successfully confused everyone.
The Venturi effect is simply Bernoulli's principle applied to a fluid that flows through a tube with a constriction in it. Bernoulli's principle (that an increase in the speed of a fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in static pressure) explains why airplanes can fly. :)
