Chong Chong, did you record your recite when everyone in your house were sleeping? I feel as if you worried waking them up...your voice could be a little louder and not hushed. On the other hand, it might be the style that you prefer: someone talking next to your ear at night...
Just want you to know how I felt when I hear the recordings ~
You know what, I myself was puzzled too why I was not able to read out louder. I didn't intentionally hush my voice. But that's all I was able to come out with the emotions I intended to convery. My voice changes with my emotion. I need to figure out how to improve this.
I didn't know anything about 朗诵,just like I didn't know anything about writing a poem. It's just my natural and genuine feelings I sounded them out and wrote them down. Singing is the same. I didn't take any classes or read books about singing either. I don't have much knowledge about any of these. Just DO it! hahaha
Last, but definitely not the least. Yesterday, I looked through Tweeting Green's posts, and found these two beautiful poems.

And a couple of small treats :)
-- Sweetbug
Not a dazzling diamond,
Not a piece of glistening gold.
No, no, my dear, you're not,
You're a soft, warm, and pure jade
That I hold close to my heart.
Raindrops in Your Eyes
-- Sweetbug
I had a dream last night.
It was raining,
The soft and warm rain
That I always like.
I enjoyed walking in the rain,
To feel the raindrops touching my skin.
But you, you said,
You did not like the rain.
It made you sad
And want to cry.
Because she left you
On that rainy rainy night.
I kept you dry,
So the raindrops did not get
In your eyes.

You cheated. No fair! :-)))
Often my R sounds more like L. I have to pay close attention to get it right, or close to being right. :)
This is itself a beautiful poem!
I don't know if I desever your over-the-top praise, but I'm taking it. I want to print it out and hang it up on the wall. hahaha
Thank you so much!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for letting me know about your thoughts.
