Here is something recommended by doctors to help the recovery of the function of the lungs:
Deep breath exercise: take deep breath through the nose for two seconds, fill the lungs so both the chest and the stomach rise, then let out the air through the mouth. Do these eight to ten times. Repeat each hour. (it could be a little difficult to start with, particularly if coughing also, but one will get used to it). This exercise could be quite important to help reduce/eliminate permanent damage to the lungs.
Regarding sleeping, try different positions: sides or face down on the stomach. The face down position seems to be very helpful for more comfortable sleeping for many.

趴着睡是最好的,胸部垫一个小枕头,这样帮助肺部排出沉浸的水气。吹球帮助呼出肺部沉积的水气,争取一个大号的气球三口气吹起,试试看,会不会有帮助。

我几个月前有一天突然感觉呼吸时吸不进去(深呼吸时,吸不到位,已经极难受)。越是这样注意力越集中在一呼一吸上。好在我第二天就正常了。所以能体会到你目前是度“秒”如年的感觉。这只能慢慢恢复,急不来。有没有想过寻求中医调理?祝你早日康复!

这种肺部疾病后遗症,要靠有氧训练恢复,可以试下慢跑。从5分钟开始,逐步加长时间。还有就是要去查有无纤维化,如果有,要遵医嘱治疗。
