Languages evolve from time 2 time, be creative

Languages evolve from time to time, if you discovered something really make sense, do not be afraid to create.  Not just I said so, I've seen this happening, & also done a couple of times.

Once I got involved in a semiformal discussion with regards to the company's current strategies, risks, potential opportunities.

The new CEO welcomed all attendees to provide their opinions and advices freely.    In my turn, I first mentioned some issues from technical perpective; then felt like to stress a few things worthless and still going on.    Don't remember what I said exactly, all of a sudden the words popped out from nowhere, could be the basic instinct.

It sound might like this: We should have gotten rid off those a long time ago, totally waste of time and resources,  they are chicken ribs.  Immediately, I realized what I just said, got a little shocked, and my breath was held.   What have I done? Chicken Rib?  What the heck is this?

To my not very much suprise since I thought it making sence, people nodded and accepted my Chicken Rib without a fuss.   Later I even heard my chicken rib from other's mouth.

Search for "No Zuo No Die", and read those serious definion of the Chinglish joke. People are willing to accept anything funny, fancy, and funky.  "No Zuo No Die" is now a slang widely spread in America.

Don't be afraid, don't be shy,  be creative, but must make sense.

Play with English, cheers.

heard this a lot when the natives want to make fun of us.

They even mimic the Cantonese accent when doing 'long time no see'

Talk about making sense, there is this English proverb:

"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth", makes not much sense to me. Hehe..
