The US and China made “substantial progress” and reached an “important consensus” in their trade talks, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng said today following high-level meetings over the weekend.
He described the discussions as “candid, in-depth and constructive,” saying both sides agreed to establish a “trade consultation mechanism” for future discussions.
“China and the United States will finalize the relevant details as soon as possible and will issue a joint statement reached at the talks on May 12,” a readout from the Chinese delegation said.
中美双方经过第一次谈判，传过来说很顺利 有突破。这是好事是大多数人期盼的。 我们期盼中美之间友好往来共同发展和繁荣。但是我的大脑却说就目前而言要达到这一步还需时间。我很希望我是错的。
中美双方期望相差悬殊，是无法为对方接受的。中方是要求维持原来的状态。可能对美国10%的关税也要有反制。而trump是大概要50-60%关税。美方频频表示中美双方谈判进展主要是平息股市但一定会执行一个较高的关税。可能是30-60%。要看美国各方能接受的最大限度。所以到第二季度第三季度有很多公司的利润会下降。
对此我觉得保持 20-30% Cash 以应付可能的下调为上策。
