Leak in crawl space 请给idea。 restoration asked >$10k. DIY?

Plumber could not go to it without cleaning. 

leak came from a crack right below compressed wood floor. 

Other darins in the house works fine.  Could insurance accept this claim?

500 sqft area in the crawl space affected.

单修修管道5000以内。五年前我发生同样情况。厨房接主管道断裂，地板打开，接好。还有另一个修理，共5000，还拿了许可。

有的很低，人进不去，只能打开地板。

Looking back. I should have dropped one or 2 water sensors

under kitchen sinks in the craw space. perhaps shower/faucet ?

Problem is that it may run out of batteries. Would be nice to put lithium battery that could last 5 years. 

craw space除了管道漏，地基本身也可能进水。有的craw space能进人，有的两三尺高，要根据不同情况处理。

里边全是霉的，你自己也别进去处理。

要开地板的，一次性在里边装好除湿设备。

还没买的房子最好别买。

钻过16寸高的CRAWSPACE修管子。。。

我还记得那事，你写过。大概也只有你能做这事，没有任何水管工会做，除非杀了他。哈哈
