Freon was added in? I was trying to make sense of why and how less amount of Freon there can cause the freezing. I still don't quite understand. Unless some of the things you got from the repaire guys are not true.
Is it possible the unit is over sized? Oversize can cause
freezing according to experts. Were you present when the unit was added with Freon? If it really leaked, it will leak again. If it's new and leaking, shouldn't it be under warranty?
The refrigerant going through the evaporator can't extract enough heat when the air conditioner system airflow goes below a certain level. Then the temperature of the refrigerant will drop below 32 degrees, and ice will form on the surface of the freezing evaporator coil as the evaporator coil keeps condensing water.
The combined gas law formula states that with a constant quantity of gas the gas pressure multiplied by its volume and divided by its temperature is also constant:
氟利昂是冷媒。高压之下,液态。这是在室外机,condenser的转换。把从屋内的热气,变成更热的热气,传到室外大气中。这是因为热(能量)总是从高往低走。
在室内机,evapor coil, 氟利昂由METERING DEVICE 控制,进入气体状。如果不漏冷媒,这个膨胀成气体的氟利昂是固定的。低压也是固定的。这个固定好的低压导致的低温,不会导致室内coil结冰。
但是当氟利昂不够,但是unit 还是按照设定好的氟利昂没漏的情况下,降压。那么压力就一下子降了太多,导致温度下降太多,太快。然后COIL周围的热空气,吸湿,结冰。一旦冰结的太多,空气就不流动了。
所以,导致没有风。
好吧,我这些是昨天晚上做的功课。但是,即便如此,空调坏了,还是要找人修。自己不行。

那么这个air flow 变小,有多种可能。1)filter 脏了,堵了。从FILTER那里就变小了。这种情况,换filter
第二种可能,2)coolant那里降温太快,A coil 那里结冰,air flow 在A COIL 那里才变小。-加coolant, 找漏
第三种情况 3)blower 坏了。也没有air flow-这种情况,修motor
还有其他可能,没研究过。
