PM company are doing this every day, they'll find a way. I am not familiar with details of FL law or what exactly PM told LZ, usually they can claim it as a holding deposit and somehow claim by not signing they suffered damage.
Don't fool around with furniture stores, contractors and PM companies. They use contract law in their business EVERY FUKING DAY, they know what they are doing as regarding deposits.

拿到lease,有一个条款不可接受:
Tenant shall be fully responsible for, and agrees to maintian and repair at Tenant's expense, the following:
A/C filters, refrigerator water filters, oven rings/drip pans, garbage disposal, locks/keys, smoke alarm batteries, interior extermination, windows, water conditioner, washer and dryer.
不是第一次租房,但是第一次看到要租户负责窗户和洗衣机干衣机。(房子已经10多年历史)
决定不签这个lease, 押金能拿回来吗?

本来按照规定,签lease后的48小时内交定金。 他们就强调不交定金不会出lease.
