Because it is hard to prove amount of damage. US court don't issue court order for apologies. You have to have damage. So in a formal court it is really not worth it.

1。 要他尽快修，修不好就要保险，
2。要不到保险就威胁报告state attorney。
3。再不解决，自己找人修好，给他发账单。

有缝，水往低处流，所以要防止水沿缝隙下滲。靠近铝盖的地方shingle下要稍微垫高，上面铝盖扣上后缝隙再用那种黏糊糊的柏油再封住。
