It's the most private school of any public schools. 17,000 undergraduate students with $10B endowment. There is NO other public schools with that $ per student. Much smaller classes than UCB/UCLA. Much fewer TAs whose English is really hard to understand :) Many kids from New England prep schools -- not saying it's always a good thing but just pointing out its century-long recruiting fact.
这个学校在我们这倒是收真学霸。收的孩子GPA和UCLA，UCB录取的差不多, 比UM招的学习还好。到底这个怎么样? 真去的人不多，那些被录取的人好多都有疼的offer， 没打算去. 里面转系容易吗？真比隔壁马里兰好那么多吗？
所以收生完全可预料。AO们有点小傲气。

这种傲气有人喜欢有人不喜欢，见仁见智
他犹太人，本科也是UVa的，本科还是psychology major，推荐我们上这个学校。看看他就蛮厉害的，文科本科，居然博士上数学。
我外甥女就是那毕业的。她早申申杜克失败，就去了那。商学院毕业后工作收入都不错。
btw，UVa商学院不是确定的，进去以后要看成绩第二年才能进。
UVa现在是地区名校了，对北卡南卡wv，Va可能比较有吸引力。

UVA 好多年一直是US NEWS 公校第一，这几年DEI没有跟上，排名影响了。商法医都很好。快乐学习。
UVA如果是私校，应该藤校级别，可惜每年拿5%州funding, UVA 校友捐钱，比较富裕。
