时间有限呀
我娃从小没学过中文读写，就是平时在家说说中文。
高中9年级选了中文作为第二外语，上来就听说读写，觉得特别挑战：），最后得了个B。
后来10，11年级继续修中文，一直觉得很挑战，好在后来得了A。
11年级考了AP中文，得了5分。
12年级没修任何外语。
没影响录取H，S。

两小孩都是从8年级开始学Spanish，一直到12年级，考了AP Spanish
但是也有不少中文当外语的，录取也很好，不影响，有个 AP 外语貌似就都差不多符合要求了

能9年级轻易把中文AP考掉的，估计是从小认真学过中文的，也花了不少功夫了。花的那些时间和功夫，干嘛要白白浪费呢？
高中要求三年外语毕业。
一个是AIME。另一个是外语National Exam 奖。
老中都重视数学奖，但是其实外语奖也是类似的weight。
