Harvard apparently likes this student, but the teacher said something in the letter that Harvard needs to clarify in person. I don't think Harvard meant to find execuse to reject the student. Harvard won't call for majority of applicants. I think the student has pretty good chance to be admitted. This profile is STRONG enough for Havard to call three times. Harvard knows there's no perfect student. Very promising!
娃EA H, 今天一个写推荐信的老师跟娃说，H办公室的今天给他打了三次电话，问了academic, ec和personality方面的问题。academic, ec老师说很好很优秀，但在跟别的同学的合作上，老师说还有进步空间。这评语是不是有些伤害性？H不中的话，后面的学校是不是该换个推荐老师？

有时候一个申请激烈讨论半个小时以上。
总是要综合考虑的。这个老师肯定推荐信也写得不怎么样，有什么red flag，所以才会打电话细问。要是EA不中，我会考虑换一个。
