XX, you've been helping me a lot with my workload lately, and I really want to thank you for that. Our team went from four people two years ago to just me now. On the upside, I streamlined the processes to focus only on what truly needs to be done, which made things very efficient. But honestly, the workload has been heavy. I didn’t want to add your stress, so I never brought it up.
Now that you've stepped in, it's taken a lot off my plate, I really appreciate it. That said, our team’s work keeps growing, and your own high-level responsibilities must be increasing too. For these day-to-day tasks, should we go ahead and hire a few people like you mentioned the other day?
I've built up a lot of experience over the past two years. Once we bring new people in, I can help you train them so they can ramp up quickly. I'd like to focus on the areas you want me to lead now. When communicating with clients, I’ll loop you in so you can review things as needed"
