原作者介绍：奥克塔维奥·帕斯，诺贝尔奖桂冠诗人。 Octavio Paz, a Nobel laureate, is one of Latin America's foremost poets. Born in Mexico City in 1914, he was the son of a journalist and writer, the grandson of a lawyer that fought in the Mexican Revolution. He grew up steeped in language and history. He began publishing poetry when he was seventeen. Throughout his life he was a prolific writer whose poems touched people of all walks of life in many countries. He taught at Cambridge University, the University of Texas, and Harvard. His death in 1998 made front page news in papers around the world, including the Chicago Tribune and the Seattle Times.
