The idiom "There's no I in team" emphasizes the importance of teamwork and collaboration. It means that individualistic behavior and prioritizing personal needs over the group's goals can be detrimental to achieving a common objective. The phrase plays on the literal absence of the letter "I" in the word "team" to highlight that a successful team focuses on collective effort rather than individual achievements.
It's important to note that individual contributions and skills are still very valuable. The idea is not to deny individual importance but to ensure that individual efforts align with and contribute to the team's overall success.

Heard the phrase when watching "The Chelsea Detective" the other night, and it hit me. So I used it in commenting under 7G's last APAD (BTW, 7G's reply "but two I's in idiot" gave me a jolly good laugh ).
Seriously, most of us need to work as a team in the workplace and the like, even at our own homes.
I think it's probably also true for WXC forums: each forum has its own characteristic ( == 坛风)and with its own participants. Those survived not only because birds of a feather, but people in it willingly work together to support and protect 坛风, especially when there is no moderator.
I'm glad that I found my Utopia here in MYSJ with well-mannered and wonderful self-deciplined utopians, thanks to you all!!!
There's no I in team, but there is an E for everyone!

I saw it in “Untamed", a new good American drama murder mystery TV series, set in Yosemite National Park.
