I SEE YOU
At 18, barely an adult, you are working in the ICU
doing your internship as a nursing student.
Sometimes day shift, sometimes night shift,
always long hours, shift your clock often.
So young, but you have already seen so much pain,
so much illness, so much life and death.
Though you have a soft heart, you must have a tough spirit,
as it needs a hard shell to shelter it.
Why are you punished with this heavy toll
when all you do is trying to help, trying to save lives?
Stresses try to wear you out,
but when you wear that white coat,
you look so invincible,
you look so beautiful,
because you are so proud.
I SEE YOU,
running around in the ICU,
despite there is a gigantic globe between us.

及笄便入 I C U，常见生离常有愁。
昨日刚消千处痛，今宵又解百人忧。
年轻有道驱罗刹，心暖无私阻土丘。
日暮黎明身影在，白衣黑发傲神州。
