偶然听到JESSIE J 在中国的综艺节目中唱“Purple Rain”，很受震动。一个女人不得不离开自己爱的人，不舍，爱恋，心痛，决绝，感谢，祝福。她离开是因为爱上了不应该爱的人，一个有家庭的男子。她的表演激扬，淋漓尽致，观众无不动容。
雨本来应该是没有颜色的，紫色是蓝色和红色的混合，蓝色是天空，红色是心血，走在紫雨中，意味着带着滴血的心走进蓝天，让信仰带领自己，穿过人性SIN的血雨腥风，走向人性美的海岸。
原唱是PRINCE，他的同名自传体电影也命名为“紫雨”，讲述了他的成长历程，如何克服自身和社会带来的艰难险阻，达至自己的理想。
