 All that glitters is not gold. 

Meaning: Something that appears valuable or true may not be.

是necessary条件，不是sufficient 条件

这个意思难道不是 “是金子总会发光” 的意思？前几天还讨论过这个All。。。is。。。的问题

是金子会发光是必要条件，非充分，会发光的不都是金子

这句开始有点费解， 可以理解为是金子早晚会发光即使现在还被埋在土里

是金子总会发光的英文是什么呢？

我理解这句就是

字面上是：所有那些不发光的金子，那些表面光彩被遮住的宝贝仍然是宝贝

原英文，这个逻辑真是太难理解了。难为你能理解出来：）
