我有一个Wells Fargo提供的信用卡免费cellular protection plan，在它家网站随时可以查到，听起来很好的。但一次iPhone 掉在路上并被随后的汽车碾压。屏幕碎成蜘蟀网一样不能用了，送去苹果店修了二百元左右。把收据附上claim,然后按照他们的要求补充了很多资料还是不付。理由是碎屏算是cosmetic damage，不妨碍手机正常运行。问题是如果不去修，蜘蛛网一样的tough screen 都不能碰不能用啊。再者申请信用卡上的理赔说明也没有说碎屏不算damage.
我觉得信用卡的保险真是不靠谱啊，目的只是诱你开卡，并不是真想赔偿或者保护，反正你也奈何不了它没有这么多时间去deal with。试想如果是车祸，岂不是要有大祸大麻烦了？
你也是，手机都被车压了你还去修，直接说不启动了拿钱换一个不就完了。你说你只换了屏幕，人家怎么知道你的手机被车压了？

因为你换屏幕不是仅仅cracked screens， 而是属于damage, touch screen 是iPhone的功能之一，它不能用了，总不能接个keyboard 随身带吧
