My most favorite writer: Penelope Lively, presented her modern classic novel—Moon Tiger. The story is starting with a famous writer, Miss Hampton, lies dying in hospital. But, she is plotting her greatest work: ”a history of the world…” Gradually, she re-creates the rich mosaic of her life and times. She spent most time in Great Egypt in Second World War. As a journalist, she went to the war battlefield and witnessed the war . She lost her true lover, Tom ,in the War and followed by her unexpected abortion. She drifted her rest of life with her daughter's father, Jasper, a talented but eccentric editor. Quarrels and argument filled up the time when they met up. ‘I saw it through him and with him. Now, he and that place are one, fused in the head to single presence of his voice and his touch, those sights and those smells” She wrote when she got to know Tom will never come back. She caressed her memory with her lover and which only deepened her sorrow.
In fact, everyone, you and me, we are bearing our own past as an episode of our memory, our own history. When standing in the streets, look at the faces passing by, stories written behind every face. We are writing the present chapter of the world history. We met up with people who carrying their own past to talk with us. The Past and the environment determines people's thinking and feeling.
What our past was also described via our viewpoints. We define the fondness against dislike; satisfaction against disappointment; success against failure. Give an example, on my first Psychology class, Professor held up an apple and asked about our thinking about it. Sort up answers as follows: when hungry, you see the apple with energy; when thirsty, it juicy; when bored, its red colour cheering you up. We describe the past through our desires and memories. Ms Penelope Lively wrote her feelings, reflecting the image of the world, a History in her time.

A small suggestion in one sentance:
We are writing our present chapter, and collectively, writing world history.
