开了15年的爱车被冰雹砸了，被保险公司报废了。车子被拖走的那天有感而写。

It seems to be last night

You came with beauty and shy

Washed you all the time

Made you prettier and shine

With the years passed by

We traveled to parks and countryside

Even to cities mile high

So much joy and delight

Memories bring me smile

Also make me want to cry

Happy journey ended with hailing and flash light

Now it's time to say good bye

With tears in my eye

I cannot decide what to buy

A new convertible sounds about right

Will make me cool and my numbered hair fly

Hope my wife will not have my dream denied

Make me again a happy guy

I really like this piece; sad, full of nostalgia, at first, and

it then, without missing a beat, shifts to unbridled humor.  Reading it made my day.  People tend to get emotionally attached to their first set of wheels.  I also wrote a piece in memory of my first car.  Anyway, I hope you get your wish and thanks for sharing.
