“When we recorded that song, everyone in the studio was so excited, and these guys were studio players who played for a lot of great artists, but they were just absolutely blown away,” she says. “When we were finished with the song, everybody went silent. We all went into the control room to hear the playback and everyone was just looking at each other shaking their heads––nobody knew what to say. It was truly the most magical moment of my recording career.”

虽说原创是写给妻子的，这种受宠若惊般的感恩之情同样适用于恋情，亲情，甚至宗教里面跟神的relationship。

这首歌我当时是92年的时候在外地教书时一盘磁带里听到的， 被几句歌词打动， 还曾抄到几句印象深刻明信片上寄给老公。（多半是因为词都简单， 但放一块挺感人）。 真正的内在含义和背景真的现在才能理解得更深一些！原来我一直嘀咕： 明明是我需要你嘛， 干嘛写成你需要我？ 是不是写错了哈哈！ 我还不知道是丈夫写给妻子的， 还以为是妻子写给丈夫的！但是歌唱的对象是凡人无法集于一身的， 有谁能为你擦去眼泪， 抚平创伤，做你的导师， 给你尊严， 将你托举到最高！非常同意泽栖的看法。 但无论是哪种关系有了这种珍惜， 感恩的情怀， 都会美好。
