US3 和 Alaska 无罚款取消 和 西南看齐 退成 Credit.
我自己的发现,哈哈....前年买了飞西班牙马略卡岛机票,跟老公两个人的,后来因为飓风取消了,然后呢,好大几千刀退回账号flight credit .....但是,只要一点开flight credit ,查看,就变成了trip credit ....试试看
因此,不得不飞了AA一段时间,期间还又改票退票,打电话那个难.... 还是喜欢UA,退票改票方便,打电话也方便
Nonrefundable 的 fare rules 以前一律是 flight credit, 只能持有人用 还要在到期前飞完。注意: 是飞。
去年下半年慢慢开始 issue Trip Credit. 这个什么人都可以用 而且是到期前訂。
两个的有效期都是一年 理论上從出票那天算起。但是实际上什么日子都有 例如取消票那天。反正 AA IT 非常抽風 什么情形出什么结果 完全撞彩。在 Flyertalk 上有个 thread on this. 很多人像你那樣有好几千的 credit, 要用出去。
AA 2024 改了有效期新发的是 AAdvantage member 有一年有效,nonmember 只有六个月。
我们有六七百剩下 原本是 LG 一个 refundable 的 place holder 是去年十一月才到期。但是去年九月和十月的 BOS-HKG 需要 position flights 來回 Boston, 去AA 把他的 refundable 改了做 去 Boston,, 余额用来订我的。这个是在 AA 惟二的Ticket Office 做 - Big mistake! 应该是原票取消 退回 Trip Credit, 然后用它来订新票。 Agent 的错误变成新票是两个 PNRs. 还有余额变了在我的名下... (major issue of AA system causing a lot of inconvenience for family with minors) 后来我们決定飞 时间好些的Delta 所以又取消了 AA tickets. 现在变成三个 credit. 他的票退成 flight credit, 上个月我看仍然是 flight credit. 我的票退成 trip credit, 加上原本未用完的余额 变成我名下的 trip credit - 这六七百元分成两种 共三个 credits 极度讨厌。
我等去完三四月的 trip 后 再来 tackle 这个 看看 Flyertalk 上提到的 trick 能不能把他的 flight credit 变成 trip credit. 这剩下的六七百 用不了就算了。

开始填错了卡号,改正后每次都是something wrong, 又不给save itinerary。后来我选了其他付款方式,填了个错的, 然后又选回credit payment, 这才通过。
我还特意用laptop登录的,最基本的网站都做成这样,好烂。
一旦卡號出錯,CVC(3 位元代碼)也會被刪除。 這是 99.99% 公司所有線上支付的普遍做法。 包括我在內的人通常只是糾正了卡號錯誤,但沒有意識到需要重新輸入 CVC,因此會再次出錯。 另外,底部有一個「同意」框,必須點擊。 一旦提交出錯,該同意框也變為未點擊狀態,需要再次點擊同意。 這在 99.99% 的酒店和航空公司預訂螢幕上也很普遍。 我相信連續的錯誤是由於上述缺失部分造成的。 一旦重新開始,你逐項輸入,忘記事情的機會就少了。
