LLPA is an upfront fee. for example, for 500K mortgage at 0.375%, Fannie would collect $1875 from the originating lender. The lender would convert the fee into an interest rate adjustment similar to point buydown.
For example usually one point would reduce mortgage rate by 0.25%. Therefore, 0.375 point fee would push mortgage rate up (0.375 x 0.25) = 0.09%
