Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.

在poll station从中午一直忙活到日落西山，刚才拖着疲惫的脚步与沉重的心情，开车回家（看来，Murphy连任已成定局）。上车后，总算有时间查看微信了。看到有朋友给我鸡毛信，也不告诉我为啥，只是让我赶紧去文学城唱坛去看看。。。
到唱坛一看，吓了我一跳，一脸蒙圈儿。。。
整个唱坛全都在纪念四哥
后来看了版主的公告才明白，被纪念的四哥是唱坛元老，才华横溢又低调谦虚乐于助人，在唱坛可谓得高望重。不幸的是，近年来他患有运动神经元疾病（渐冻症），也就是ALS。。。

唱坛的四哥于昨天凌晨与世长辞，据说去世前的几分钟还面带微笑。。。
愿四哥一路走好，天堂不再有病痛。

影片的男主人公，是英国最杰出的天文物理学家之一：霍金（Stephen Hawking）。霍金不幸患有的这个不治之症，就是ALS。从这个影片里面，对ALS有了最直接的感官认识，实在是太震撼了，太为患者难过了。
所以，老天爷给了我们一个健康的身体，就是对我们最大的bless。
健康就是福！什么党争选举，房市股市，后院的狐狸精（望眼欲穿：狐狸何时成精？），家门口的女逃犯（蒙圈儿了：万圣节之夜，如果有女逃犯敲门儿，该咋办？）。。。都是浮云。

女逃犯正打算色诱四哥，后院的狐狸精醋意大发，冲进屋。。。

上午有一阵子共和党候选人还略微领先，非常遗憾，不过温和共和党人是美国未来的希望，瓜哥不要泄气，继续为共和党人加油，毕竟只有他们和我们传统老中的价值观最接近。
