A leading textile company is looking for a dedicate individual to join our Accounts Receivable and logistics team in Houston TX 77477.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Ensures timely collection of customer payments; retrieve the remittance from the customer and record the payment received in NetSuite System and AR spreadsheet. · Reviews customer invoice deductions and disputes for resolution · Maintain the AR and dispute chart, follow up the disputes status and apply the paybacks or resubmit the denied ones. · Contact the customers for any payment related issues · Assist with month end responsibilities, such as monthly invoice summary · Make the container shipping plan based on the delivery date on the Purchase Order; work closely with the production team to consolidate and optimize the shipment · Filing paperwork for customs clearance. · Follow up in-transit shipments: coordinate with freight forwarder and warehouse team to deliver containers on time; notify empty container return to prevent extra cost; · Ensure the receiving in NetSuite match with the packing list from the suppliers Required skills and qualifications · Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting and logistics · Good time management and detail orientation · Accurate data entry skills · Proficiency with Excel and EPR system NetSuite · Prioritizes and plans work efficiently with a can-do attitude Preferred skills and qualifications · Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field · Experience in accounts receivable and Logistics
