In order to be eligible for up to thirteen weeks of extended benefits, also known as Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), applicants must meet the following:
Original UI claim was dated on or after July 8, 2018; Exhausted all entitlement to regular UI benefits; Not eligible for benefits in any other state or territory; and Current benefits will be exhausted by December 20, 2020. If you meet the above criteria, TWC will notify you by mail or electronic correspondence.
Please do not attempt to apply for benefits again. This could produce a system error. This will not affect your ability to get PEUC, but it could delay processing.
The last payable week for PEUC is December 26, 2020.
