Job Description We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing company. Your work will include collateral design, preparing promotional presentations, developing social platforms, and conducting market analysis.
Responsibilities: Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends Design and present new social media campaign ideas Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions Assist in the management of website SEO Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives Support marketing campaign planning and execution
Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with marketing software and social media platforms Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Previous experience with the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social) a plus
Education and General Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, web design, or a related field Must be available to work 40 hours per week during the entire internship period Must be commutable to and from the Rockleigh, NJ during the entire internship period Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization
