先介绍下LZ的情况。 我是K1未婚妻签证入境。8月底申请绿卡+工卡+回美证。现在绿卡状态是10月30号更新的"Ready to be scheduled for an interview"。 申请工卡，要符合两个条件： 1. 要有job offer：LZ没有这个，但是听说正式的job offer上要写清楚是全职还是兼职、工作时长、薪水等等情况；LZ用的是contract，因为自己是freelancer，所以公司没办法提供正式的offer，一开始担心contract没有offer有说服力，但是居然也可以用来加急。 2.要符合加急的条件criteria：移民局官网上的条件如下(一般都是第一个理由：公司或个人遭受严重经济损失) Severe financial loss to a company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioner’s or applicant’s failure to: （1）File the benefit request or the expedite request in a reasonable time frame, or （2）Respond to any requests for additional evidence in a reasonably timely manner; Urgent humanitarian reasons; Compelling U.S. government interests (such as urgent cases for the Department of Defense or DHS, or other public safety or national security interests); or Clear USCIS error. 仔细想好自己的理由后，就可以申请加急了。切记，想好理由这一步很重要。毕竟申请绿卡时，我们的配偶或者co-sponsor是默认有经济实力的，可以确保你的经济支出直到你找到工作的。所以要想好理由。LZ听说比如突然的经济支出、伤病，或者工作的特殊性，比如你是某种专业的人才：老师、护士、bilingual工作等等，这些理由比较容易加急通过。 加急的步骤：首先，打电话1-800-375-5283申请加急。 准备好自己的I-765 case number还有自己的A-number，客服会提问到。客服问完一些基本情况后，TA会帮你创建加急的case，最重要的部分就是你需要告诉客服加急的原因，TA会帮你加入你的case详情里。我个人理解是，这个步骤很关键，你提供的信息是否有说服力，将决定后来review你这个case的官员会不会同意加急。所以，想好理由，在纸上写下后，做到brief and straight to the point。(LZ自己选择的是financial loss to the company。客服问原因的时候，我说1. triligual worker; 2. company in desperate need of Mandarin and Cantonese workers; 3 company missed over 200 cases of service in a month becasue of lack of Mandarin and Cantonese workers; 4. passed all the assessments requested by company.) 除了上述问题后，LZ能够回忆起来的其他问题，就是file under what catagory(因为我是和绿卡一起申请，所以就是pending I-485)、电话、电子邮件还有自己的地址 全部完成相关问题后，客服帮你提交申请后，会给你一个referral number让你记下，如果之后太久没有收到他们的回复的话，可以打电话用这个referral number问一下情况 等待回复officer review完后同意让你加急的话，大概5-7天就可以收到email或者mail让你把相关资料传真给他们。 传真的资料1. 一封cover letter。可以在信的最上方写上URGENT/ TIME SENSITIVE。分享下我的cover letter模板： [My Name]

Sincerely, [NAME] 2. 其实其他材料都在上面cover letter列清了。就是你的job offer或者contract。我自己是把contract里的开始时间、工作性质和薪水都highlight起来，并在信中告知在哪一页 3.其他证据证明你加急的理由。我自己用的是往来邮件打码。有人告诉我他让公司负责人写了一封简短的信，说明公司招人困难并且期待和他合作。 准备好资料后，传真给移民局LZ一开始用普通传真机，移民局提供的传真电话一直是忙线，于是放弃这一方法。 在网上搜了一圈，免费的传真app或者网站，一般都是只能免费传个5、6页，LZ有16页要传。于是只能选择付费的app。叫做FAX（如图1）。付了8刀一星期的会员价。这个app好处在于它自动帮你发送传真，几遍不成功，还是会一直自动发送直至成功。成功后便是图2界面。不过要记得成功后，不需要服务的话要取消订阅，才不会下次继续被扣费。 删除 Link 注释 图片来自于@ ，版权属于原作者

LZ是11月26号把传真发送出去的，12月2号状态就更新为approved。
