A lot of people go to lunch with co-workers, but I personally don’t. I see my job as a job, that’s it. I am not there to make friend or anything, so I eat by myself, and do my work, and at the end of the day, I go home and do what I want to do.
you can still make “friends” at work, might not be real friends, but at the end of day, they are the ones who can help you in the work place, not your real friends. I have lunch with my co-worker everyday, we talked a lot things, but never after work.
I never attended company events or xmas parties and I hate social...but i do make friends w/ coworkers that I like, we have lunch together often and talk about everything, and we keep touch even after leaving the company.
