Draco Natural Products is a manufacturer of botanical extract ingredients for the nutritional supplement, food and beverage, and cosmetic industries. We are currently seeking a quality assurance/control for support of cGMP regulation, certification of analysis and other QA/QC related duties. This is a full-time, Quality Assurance/Control position located at our San Jose, CA headquarters.
We are looking for a self-motivated team member. This candidate must have the flexibility to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.This position is immediately available.
Objectives of this Role Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards. Carefully maintain complaint and non conformance processing through recording and tracking systems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits. Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverable. Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels. Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements. Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of complaints.
Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Experience in cosmetics, personal care, nutritional, and/or fine chemical industry is a plus. Competent at MS office and database management. Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Qualifications Bilingual in English and Chinese is required. Understanding of cGMP, and how QA/QC functions within it.
