Townhouse ~ A Townhouse refers to a style of construction and not a type of management, whereas Condo are the types of ownership. It is like a house in that the owner owns both the structure and the land on which it sits, but since it is not free-standing you own the front and backyard. It basically is a building or unit that shares a common wall with the building or unit next door. Townhouses usually are connected to one another in a row and usually have 2 or more stories. They usually do not have not have neighbors above and below, and can be a style of a condo.

Condo包括coop和apartment吧 coop就肯定只能自住 apartment还是有少部分可以出租的
半岛好点condo也要一米了,这个价格能买到东湾sfh或者townhouse子,trade off就是每天的通勤时间了
我看有些condo是有age restriction的

有condo比较不保值的说法吗
如果是复式的那种condo会考虑吗?
如果楼下不住人 楼上不住人 或许会考虑 但我们也确实担心hoa还有升值的问题 感觉跟townhouse价格差不了太多的话我们更倾向于买townhouse
我们不求第一套自住房能涨很多钱,只要不跌,住着舒服就好。要是同样条件我也选th了,但是肯定是要有取舍的。
不过鉴于湾区的地震 建议楼主买那种最高两层楼的condo 虽然比较少见 但是安全考虑还是必要的
