For background: On November 5, 2021, a man named Chad Read lawfully went to pick up his son from his ex wife pursuant to a custody order. The ex-wife and her new man, Kyle Carruth (a manlet), refused to turn the kid over and had hidden the kid somewhere else, which is felony kidnapping in Texas (and everywhere else).
The manlet (Carruth) tried to illegally run Chad Read off with a gun, which he had no right to do because Carruth was present pursuant to a court order and manlet was committing a felony. A struggle ensued for the gun and Carruth shot Read dead. Clear case of felony murder. The Texas AG office is investigating and hasn't decided what, if anything, to charge.
One of many felonies the Manlet committed was this: CH. 25.SEC. 25.03 INTERFERENCE WITH CHILD CUSTODY a) A person commits an offense if the person takes or retains a child younger than 18 years of age:
(1) when the person knows that the person's >taking or retention violates the express terms of a judgment or order, including a temporary order, of a court disposing of the child's custody >(d) An offense under this section is a state jail felony.
