It is just immiserating the homeland for donor purposes.
If we stopped sucking the life out of the 50 states we might get the growth rates we had in the past.
And the difference between 1% growth and 6% growth when compounded is so profound it is worth more than any sanction or weapon in a conflict with China.
But America has no intention of winning--just initiating and funding conflict forever. Or until we run out of money.
