It can be seen from the data that during this 7-month period, 34,803 households (including individuals, couples, or families) had address change requests (ie 28%) to move to other communities in San Francisco. As many as 89,328 families have left the city completely.
Some families moved to neighboring areas, such as Marin County and Oakland. Those who left the Bay Area have moved to cities and towns across the United States. According to public comments, Las Vegas is the number one destination, followed by Palm Beach County and Seminole County in Florida, Denver and Beaverton in Oregon.
