My sister works for the state government in a state where they’re a couple weeks few days into this (not the state in my tribus.) She started feeling ill at work today, and the health department sent her home to self-isolate for 14 days. They didn’t even test her, they just said go home and don’t come out until your symptoms go away. :scared:
I’m not sure if it’s just a shortage of test kits or what, but it seems pretty surreal that they’d just send her home without a test (although it’s possible they still want her to take one at some point...) So now we just get sit and wonder whether her symptoms are just a flu or something worse.
Meanwhile I’m trying to decide whether to cancel a (unrefundable, booked last year) family trip to FL coming up in 10 days... Yesterday I was 95% sure we were still going to go, today more like 60%.
