Just received a call this morning from Hershey notifying me that they will raise my paycheck by 4% next quarter. I tend to forget details, but I recall they raised my paycheck by 7% last year. Can't complain with 4% raise in this pandemic. I'll take it!

What if I buy the stocks on ex-dividend day, and then sell one or two days later.
Is that a good strategy with the same effects of hold the stocks?
