Option 到期之后， 盘后发生了什么呢 ？

向大家请教一个问题：

我是一个新手小白。

上周五股市停盘时， 我的SPX的option到期了, 当时还显示挣一点钱。
我就什么都没做， 等着option 过期。

今天settle了, 发现居然亏了不少钱。

这是不是由于股市停盘后， option仍然有after hour trading ?

如果这样， 散户也能参与吗 ？

另外，我看了ThinkorSwim 关于的数据， 显示

expirationDate: 2020-06-12 13:00:00,
lastTradingDay: 2020-06-12 17:00:00 ==》比股市停盘，　晚四个小时

这个是说， 股市停牌后，　还有四个小时可以trade 这个 option吗 ？

这个问题我问过券商,交易来说，普通股票的option 是和股票交易时间一样，而ETF的
option 交易时间是比股票交易时间晚，就是关盘后还可以交易。至于股票的assign,
比方说你卖价内的call,周五收盘还在价内，很可能到周六周日才assign

COBE说“On the last trading day, trading in expiring SPXW Weeklys closes at 3:00 p.m. (Chicago time).” 所以你的SPXW肯定没有after hour trade。我猜测有两种可能：第一，spx close 3040.49，但这并不是settlement price，which is 3041.
31。第二，虽然after hour 不交易，但是settlement price可能是根据after hour
stock prices calculated，而不是根据prices at 3:00 p.m. (Chicago time)。具体
是哪个，还请版上大牛们指点一下。

regular trading hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (Chicago time) on Monday

这就是说， 至少可以trade till 3:15 pm ?

SPX option结算价格为交割日的regular hour的收盘价，交易记录可以证实。另外，券商显示option是否盈利以及盈利亏损多少的数字一般都是错误的

你只是看到了一部分，那是指non-expiring SPXW Weeklys。

“On the last trading day, trading in expiring SPXW Weeklys closes at 3:00 p.m. (Chicago time). All non-expiring SPXW Weeklys continue to trade until 3:15 p.m. (Chicago time).”

这个时间段， 2:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m， 散户也可以 SPX index option嘛 ？

Different broker may offer different pre/afer market trading time. For
example, Ally only offers from 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. (Chicago time), but
Webull offers 2:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. (Chicago time). I'm not familiar with
ThinkorSwim. You should be able to find the information on its web site or
contact customer service.
