Turbo car? How much oil does it burn when new? High crankcase vacuum could suck oil through the intake, especially for a turbo engine. There should be an oil separator that collects the oil and prevent it from being suck in the air intake. A lot of the car has the separator under- designed.
You can ask the dealer to check engine vacuum. If vacuum is higher than normal, you could have a PCV problem. PCV is known to fail after around 80 k miles. If you do not have a turbo car, there is actually a very good chance the PCV is defective if you car consumes oil at this rate without humongous external leak.
You can idle the car, and open the engine oil filler cap. If the oil filler cap is very hard to open, the crank case vacuum is high. The problem is that you do not know what is normal. You will have to check a shop manual to be sure. Generally feeling some resistance to open the oil filler cap is okay. Too much resistance usually indicate a problem. Note that you may get a check engine light after you do the test. The code is caused by unmetered air intake from the filler cap.
