Since mostly car nowadays does not need to replace spark before 100K. You really do not need to anything until 90K-100K unless you see significant fuel consumption increase.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will ask for the exact engine code. It took technician about 15 minutes to get back to me the info and quote $10k, and asked me back on Monday to have it fixed. Not sure if they open the engine.

But it take a longer time to ignite engine. In normal cases usually immediately. Now need 2 seconds. Dealer said that’s fine now.
The dealer didn’t provide any information about code and description. Just explain to me orally

现在我的问题是：
1. 从图上maintenance的项目看，有可能某一项导致engine light亮吗？
2. 如果真的是我运气不好凑巧这部分自己坏了，10k的quote合理吗？

今天去了Autozone读了code，结果贴在43楼。简单来说error code是P0019，确实是
Crankshaft and camshaft的问题，Google了一下原因各式各样，最简单的可能就是某
个sensor坏了，也可能很复杂。但是之前的dealer都没仔细查就让我换全套的10k，我
是觉得不合理。明天打算换家dealer问问，至少得花点时间找原因吧。不能就凭这个
code让我换全套。
看起來非常的扯蛋。
而且現在 mercedes的車60K就要換spark plug了

再找别的地方读码，这 engine 如果 6 万迈就要这样大修，也太垃圾了，找 MB
complain，要求他们负责维修费用。

奔驰只有早期得V6有Balance Shaft啊，现在60度夹角V6根本不需要Balance Shaft. 什么鬼
你贴的图里面那两个长条形的是Camshaft
如果是Camshaft有啥毛病，绝对不需要18个小时的工。
去专修欧洲车的路边店问一下比较靠谱。

还能开高速就不是大问题，没准是神马 sensor 太敏感了，找别家看看。去汽配店读码，网上找 MB 论坛问问，总有别人碰到过
你过得mile 数太多了。
那就开始自学修车吧。至少学到可以指导technician要修什么的程度，才不会被宰

我开ml350 十几年了，重来没有听说过什么 unbalanced shafts,你开车去autozone

感觉被Dealer黑了。
应该去Auto Zone/Advanced Auto Parts等Local Store，让他们帮你读一下Code，看看是什么问题（免费的）。或者自己在Amazon或者Walmart上买个OBD2 Reader/Scanner。然后再上网查查怎么修，大约要花多少钱。

M276这个引擎十分的稳定
我两台车都是
一个5w迈
另一个7w迈
GLE应该是后面的了 按理说质量更好才是
你最好去读一下code确定是啥问题
我估计就是一些sensor的问题
另外火花塞可以10w迈再换
不过机油最好5000-10000就换
我平时加油都加87
根本没那么多讲究
启动慢可能是engine timing有问题，可能是camshaft的问题造成的
你的第2个图是camshaft position sensor, 这个容易换，$500以内
第3个图是camshaft, 看具体要换什么，$5000也应该差不多了

今天去了Autozone读了code，简单来说error code是P0019，确实是Crankshaft and

延保刚过一个月，开始漏油。敌乐要4千。找个体户2千修好。
又过一个月，出了个emission 的code, 第一次花了一千，还有code. (应该cover 在
federal emission warranty,敌乐拒认warranty).第二次敌乐要诈5千。回家买了瓶燃
油宝，马上就没有了code. 然后到处file complaint. 最后credit card 公司认为敌
乐欺诈，全部免单。
最过分的是，所有上述问题，T S B上全有。换了丰田，敌乐会免费修。mb 敌乐则不但要钱，还按市场价双倍收！
因为是柴油车，已经和class action 律师签约，希望最后拿点钱贴补下修车费。
