If there is a technology injected in the body (aka vaccine) that will automatically stick the body on the seat and not let the body fly off during crashes. And this techonology really works. I'm pretty sure people will not wear the mechanical seat belt. But if this technology has other side effects some ppl may choose to not take it and just wear the seat belt.

You can always rationalize your reasoning. That's it. It's a difference between 100 steps and 50 steps. Without the seatbelt mandate, at least sometimes you, or many trumpers, will not bother with it. You have no probelm with it simply because when you came to the US, seatbelt mandate was already in effect. So you take it as a standard. Don't forget that soem people will say similar things, but just the opposite, as you did. THey can say the vax has no adverse effects on them, so they are fine with them. However, "fastening the seatbelt almost suffocates me." Don't laugh at the exaggeration. In the 90s, that was what a lot of Chinese said about seatbelts. They will say you are the 脑残 to not wear mask but fasten seatbelt.
