On the severity of Omicron, I surprisingly agree with Fauci that it's too early to tell it's less virulent - because most of the early mild cases are reported for young people, and we don't know how an old person would respond to the virus, especially if they are not vaccinated.
But after all, everyone will get the virus anyways no matter if it's more or less severe. Everyone that WOULD die from covid MUST die. Omicron changes nothing.
O is breaking through with ease, if the R0 is higher than Delta,that means adaptive immunity is not working effectively. Those rely on adaptive immunity will eventually be exhausted.

据估计Omicron的R值超过6,“传染力高于 delta”大概跑不了了。“症状更轻”也有
